Over the past two years, Professional Planner Online has established itself as an invaluable adjunct to Professional Planner – the leading magazine for Australia’s fee-based financial planning community. The website has been a source of news and information for financial planners between editions of the magazine. It has broken crucial industry news, and provided a forum for interaction between readers on a range of – sometimes controversial – topics.
Now we’ve made it even better.
With a new, clean look, easier navigation and improved grouping of content, Professional Planner Online represents a step forward in how Professional Planner will keep you up to date with key industry developments and events. Staying on top of developments will be critical, following the return of the Gillard Labor Government, and its unambiguous policy agenda for the reform of the financial planning sector.
And it’s simpler than ever before to get involved, to comment on the articles you read, and to respond to the opinions and views of your colleagues and peers.
Professional Planner Online will continue to provide you with contributions from some of the industry’s leading thinkers, technical experts and investment management specialists.
And we have a range of developments in the pipeline that will be added to the site in coming months, to improve the interaction and community aspects of the website experience.
Starting this week, we publish the first in a six-part website-only series on “The Future of Financial Planning”, in which leading figures outline their views of where your industry is heading, and the key challenges that all players will need to overcome to survive and prosper in the face of looming regulatory change.
If you haven’t visited the website before, come and have a look. If you have visited the site before, come and have a look at the new one. We think you’ll like the changes.
One thing has not changed: our philosophy is that Professional Planner and Professional Planner Online are published for Australia’s leading specialist financial planners, accountant planners and private bankers. Our aim is to be as useful and supportive as possible of financial planners in running their businesses, in keeping abreast of changes and developments in legislation and regulation, and in staying on top of the latest industry developments.
We welcome all feedback on how we can do this better for you. Please do not hesitate to leave a comment on the website, or e-mail me directly, on simon.hoyle@conexusfinancial.com.au
Yours sincerely,
